EDITORIAL POLICY

The journal Sociology.KZ is a specialized sociological and socio-humanitarian publication dedicated to the study of current social processes, analysis of the dynamics of societal development, as well as theoretical and methodological issues in contemporary sociology.

The aim of the journal is to contribute to the development of Kazakhstani and Central Asian sociology, to promote scientific ideas of domestic and international researchers, and to expand the communicative space for scientific dialogue among sociologists, political scientists, philosophers, and representatives of related disciplines.

The journal's editorial board pursues a policy of open scientific dialogue aimed at consolidating the academic and expert community, fostering a culture of critical analysis, and strengthening international scientific cooperation. Particular attention is given to publications by young researchers whose works reflect new directions in sociological thought and attract interest from the scientific community.

The editorial policy of the journal is directed toward enhancing the academic standing and international citability of Kazakhstani sociology, unlocking its scientific potential, and integrating it into the global humanitarian space.

The journal is open to discussions of current issues in the fields of sociology, political science, religious studies, digital society, social philosophy, and interdisciplinary research.

The journal Sociology.KZ adheres to an open access policy for published materials. All articles are made available in full-text format on the journal's official website — www.journalsociology.kz.

Plagiarism Checking Policy

All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo mandatory originality checking using the iThenticate system.

Materials must be original and contain no unacknowledged borrowings. The minimum acceptable originality threshold for the text is at least 85%.

The editorial board reserves the right to reject articles that fail to meet the standards of academic integrity and publication ethics.
